Meet our Team

Elevate Recoveries is owned and managed by two long term health care collection professionals.  The management team has over 60 years of experience between them.

PRESIDENT– Cindy Armstrong is a thirty-five year veteran of the healthcare collections industry. Ms. Armstrong started her career as a collector and quickly moved up through the management ranks. At her first employer, which is one of the oldest and largest collection companies in the country, she created the first healthcare-specific division. She has created and run programs for all levels of Healthcare receivables including in-house collection operations, in-house Medicaid eligibility services, “early out” billing and follow-up programs, “early out” primary collection programs and primary and secondary collection programs. Ms. Armstrong was primarily responsible for creating the primary and secondary healthcare collection operations at two of the largest collection companies in the country. She has most recently been an owner and creator of the largest healthcare-exclusive agency in the country.

Her focus has always been on the employees, even when there were 300 to 500 collectors in her organizations. “A collection company is only as good, as successful and as ethical as it’s employees. Our employees are the only service that we offer our clients and the longer they work for us, the better we are as a company. The company and it’s employees live the culture that comes from the person in charge, and I have always been proud of the reputations of my organizations.”

CIO – Lee Douglas has over twenty years in the healthcare collections industry. He started out as a collector and worked his way up to Collection Manager. After showing a talent for development and process analysis and improvement, Lee moved into his IT career as a System Administrator. Over the years Lee advanced to become a Sr. Director of Information Services for several of the largest healthcare receivables companies in the country. Lee is well known as an expert in several of the premier collection systems that are utilized by large collection companies. He has developed hundreds of interfaces and has automated countless processes to streamline operations and eliminate human errors. Elevate Recoveries is fortunate to have one of the only IT management people who started out as a collector. Lee Douglas is one of the reasons why Elevate Recoveries is uniquely qualified to collect healthcare receivables.
